Roundtables and Boardrooms are live video chats about a specific topic that may be organized by the event owner or attendees and can be public (open for anyone to attend) or private (open to invitees only). Roundtables allow up to 6 people to join; Boardrooms allow up to 15 users. Roundtables and Boardrooms can be sponsored, meaning that they are hosted by a sponsor.
Enabling Functionality in the Events Builder
To customize the various types of Roundtables and Boardrooms available in your event, log in to the Events Builder and select your event.
Select General Settings from the left navigation panel and click the Pages tab. Click the Roundtables dropdown to reveal the different options you can customize. Here you will find the toggles for enabling/disabling the different Roundtable and Boardroom types:
- Sponsored Roundtable/Boardroom
- Private Roundtable/Boardroom
- Session Roundtables
Don’t forget to click Save after you’ve made your selections.
Viewing Functionality on the Event Site
Turning on these various toggles will determine what appears in the All Roundtables section of the Roundtables page. This section is split into two parts: Sponsored and Public (assuming both types are enabled in the event). Each part has two tabs: one for Roundtables and one for Boardrooms (assuming both Roundtables and Boardrooms are enabled in the event).
|Note: Only public Roundtables appear in the All Roundtables section on this page. Private Roundtables will appear for those who have been invited to them in their My Roundtables section at the top of the page.|
If you allow Roundtables and Boardrooms on sessions, these will appear on the session theater page, below the session player and speakers.
Sponsored Roundtables and Boardrooms will appear on the Sponsors page in addition to the Sponsored section of the Roundtables page.
